Deck overview

Ratchet, Field Medic // Ratchet, Rescue Racer is the deck's recursion engine rather than a fast beatdown commander. The front face turns small life gains into cheap artifact reanimation, while the back face's Living metal and artifact-death trigger keep Ratchet cycling between forms. The main plan is incremental value: churn through clues, foods, and mill effects, then turn that value into a wide artifact-creature board with Felidar Retreat, Thousand Moons Smithy, and Threefold Thunderhulk. The hidden commander is the back face, Ratchet, Rescue Racer, since the deck leans on its artifact-death trigger almost as much as the front. There is no direct combo; games end through Tempered Steel-boosted swarms, a big Threefold Thunderhulk, or The Warring Triad after self-mill enables it.
