Deck overview

This is a five-color Saga tribal deck helmed by Tom Bombadil, built to chain Sagas into an overwhelming value engine. The primary game plan is to deploy Tom, then use his triggered ability to put Sagas directly onto the battlefield from the library whenever a final chapter resolves. The deck leans heavily on the Ring-tempts mechanic from the Lord of the Rings set, which provides card selection, ramp, and creature theft. Win conditions are combat-oriented: legendary creatures like Aragorn, the Uniter, Smaug the Impenetrable, and tokens from Sagas such as There and Back Again and In the Darkness Bind Them apply pressure, while War of the Last Alliance grants double strike and Eomer, Marshal of Rohan enables extra combat steps. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins through incremental value and overwhelming board presence.
