Deck overview

This Selesnya deck centers on an aggressive Angel tribal and lifegain strategy commanded by Sigarda, Font of Blessings. The plan focuses on deploying early ramp, mana dorks, and lifegain enablers like Soul Warden and Giada, Font of Hope to cast Sigarda ahead of curve. Once Sigarda is in play, the rest of the board gains hexproof while you cast Angels and Humans directly from the top of your library. The deck quickly crosses life total thresholds to activate powerful anthems from Righteous Valkyrie and Archangel of Thune, generating an overwhelming airborne army. Pillowfort elements like Ghostly Prison and Archangel of Tithes buy time against opposing aggro, while a deep suite of board protection spells—such as Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and Flare of Fortitude—defends the board against wipes, closing the game around Turn 8 through decisive combat damage.
