Deck overview

This is a Dimir Ninjutsu deck helmed by Satoru Umezawa, built around the classic "cheat a fatty into play" plan. The core strategy is to deploy cheap, unblockable creatures like Slither Blade and Changeling Outcast, swing in, then ninjutsu out game-ending threats such as Blightsteel Colossus or value engines like Fallen Shinobi and Kaito, Bane of Nightmares. Satoru's static ability grants every creature in hand ninjutsu, while his trigger provides card filtering to keep the gas flowing. The deck packs a robust tutor suite to find either the unblockable enabler or the payoff, backed by a solid counterspell package and a handful of free interaction spells. Secondary win paths include commander damage via Wrexial, the Risen Deep, and the "disappear" mechanic on Krang & Shredder for repeatable value. The deck is a tempo-combo hybrid that aims to end games quickly once a big threat connects.
