Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu Knight and Equipment combat deck centered on Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale. Its strongest normal pattern is to develop lands and mana rocks, use Fighter Class to find an Equipment, cast the commander, and attack with a freely equipped Knight. Each equipped attacker draws a card, while large Equipment such as Argentum Armor, Ultima Weapon, and Machinist's Arsenal turns combat into permanent removal or large damage. The deck also has a useful protection package and enough removal to interact with common threats. Its main limits are expensive deployment, several tapped lands, limited haste, and weak access to a complete table-kill sequence. The commander usually cannot attack until the following turn, and the deck does not reliably assemble Aurelia, the Warleader or another finisher alongside its primary engine. It therefore produces recurring value and combat pressure, but not a compact or dependable win clock.
