Namor Merfolk Tribal by user9058253

Format: Commander

Commander: Namor the Sub-Mariner

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue Merfolk tokens strategy under Namor the Sub-Mariner. Namor turns every noncreature spell with blue pips into that many 1/1 Merfolk and then attacks as a flyer whose power equals the school. The 99 is a complete tribal deck on its own: lords and islandwalk, Kindred Discovery plus Distant Melody for cards, Raise the Palisade as a one-sided wipe, and five combo finishes that never touch the command zone. Wins come from a pumped, often unblockable swarm, extra-turn loops off Wanderwine Prophets, an Intruder Alarm plus Deeproot Pilgrimage token engine, a Skullclamp and Phyrexian Altar draw grind, or a Hullbreaker Horror bounce lock. High Tide and White Lotus Tile fuel kicked Rite of Replication copies and miracle Temporal Mastery turns. At three mana Namor is easy to recast, but he is a value body rather than a required engine - the plan still executes if he never enters.
