Deck overview

This deck is a traditional Gruul midrange stompy list piloted by Grumgully, the Generous. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Grumgully on curve, following up with non-Human creatures that enter with bonus +1/+1 counters, and grinding down opposing life totals through combat. The creature suite features a dense collection of straightforward beaters like Centaur Courser, Axebane Beast, and Barkhide Mauler, which scale up into sizable attackers. Decisive pressure arrives in the late game through top-end finishers like Terror of Mount Velus and Overcome, granting team-wide double strike or trample to push through lethal damage across consecutive attack steps. Because the deck lacks tutors and repeatable card draw engines, it plays at an honest land-per-turn pace and relies on natural top-decks for late-game fuel. Interaction consists of flexible artifact hate and burn spells, while Obliterate serves as an uncounterable emergency reset.
