Berserker Barrage by steviepopo

Format: Commander

Commander: Wolverine, Best There Is

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Gruul +1/+1 counters deck is helmed by Wolverine, Best There Is, a commander whose double damage ability turns every point of power into two. The primary game plan is to pump Wolverine with counters, equipment, and damage doublers, then attack with double strike or extra combat to deal lethal commander damage to all opponents at once via Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The deck also leverages fight spells for removal and synergizes with the +1/+1 counter theme through cards like Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and The Ozolith. Secondary win conditions include combat damage from other large creatures like Karlach, Fury of Avernus or Xenagos, God of Revels, and the occasional Chandra's Ignition blowout. The deck is a focused, combat-centric voltron strategy with moderate redundancy but no tutors.
