Deck overview

This deck executes a high-power Dimir spellslinger strategy with dual win conditions. Its primary path accelerates into an infinite loop using Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal, generating infinite mana, infinite storm, and an immediate victory through Aetherflux Reservoir or Altar of Dementia. When pursuing its secondary combat plan, the deck deploys Lord of the Nazgûl to convert inexpensive cantrips and interaction into an overwhelming army of 3/3 menace Wraiths that become 9/9 beaters once nine exist. A dense acceleration suite featuring Mana Vault, Sol Ring, and cheap mana rocks ensures fast deployment, while premier draw engines like The One Ring, Rhystic Study, and Necropotence keep resources flowing. The deck defends its win attempts with format-tier free countermagic, including Fierce Guardianship, Force of Will, and Pact of Negation, alongside Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun to deny opponent responses during critical sequences.
