Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color legendary toolbox strategy commanded by Sisay, Weatherlight Captain. The primary plan leverages Sisay's activated ability to search the library for legendary permanents directly onto the battlefield. By deploying low-cost multicolored legends like Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff and Hajar, Loyal Bodyguard, Sisay quickly grows in power to tutor game-ending threats. The primary win condition utilizes an infinite combat loop with Najeela, the Blade-Blossom and Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, untapping 5 colors of mana on combat damage to take infinite attacks. Alternatively, Jodah, the Unifier provides massive anthem buffs and cascade-like value to overwhelm opponents with combat damage. The deck defends its board using tutorable protection pieces such as Tam, Mindful First-Year and Hajar, Loyal Bodyguard, while resetting opponents with asymmetric wipes like Urza's Ruinous Blast. Although the mana base features ten tapped Triomes that slightly limit early explosive speed, the deck offers exceptional consistency, resilient recursion, and versatile answers.
