Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered competitive mono-green combo deck led by The Cabbage Merchant. It exploits the commander's ability to turn opponents' noncreature spells into Food tokens, converting opposing early game development into colored mana. The deck leverages format-ceiling acceleration and proactive tax artifacts like Trinisphere and Vexing Bauble to slow down faster opponents. Meanwhile, its dense suite of creature and artifact tutors quickly assembles the primary infinite combo of Peregrin Took and Nuka-Cola Vending Machine. Once assembled, this engine draws the entire library, creates immense Treasure mana, and finishes the game on the spot with a massive Finale of Devastation or an instant-speed Grinding Station mill line supported by flash enablers. Backed by premier green protection spells like Allosaurus Shepherd and Veil of Summer, the deck consistently executes a protected Turn 3 victory.
