Deck overview

This deck uses Ureni of the Unwritten as a high-cost Dragon engine. The practical plan is to ramp through Sol Ring, mana rocks, cost reducers, and land-search spells, then cast Ureni of the Unwritten and use its enters-the-battlefield and attack triggers to place large Dragon creatures directly onto the battlefield. Cards such as Dragonlord Atarka, Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Dragon Tempest, and Temur Ascendancy can turn those free creatures into removal, cards, haste, or combat damage. The deck assembles around turn 7 and usually creates its first serious attack around turn 8. It has useful creature removal and sweepers, but little protection, tutoring, or stack interaction. Its main weakness is that the commander costs seven mana and the deck cannot reliably combine haste, protection, damage multipliers, and enough attack-ready Dragons to produce a deterministic table kill. It is a powerful casual battlecruiser engine, not a compact combo or competitive control deck.
