FF only final bosses - Kefka by edel_xiv

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage leads a Grixis control deck that wins by assembling a board of Wizard tokens and chaining instants and sorceries. Each noncreature spell triggers every Wizard token to deal 1 damage to each opponent, while Kefka's front face converts discard into card draw and his back face turns that life loss into further draw. The deck also has a Purphoros/token drain line and a reanimation package. It controls the board with counterspells, spot removal, and a few wipes, then closes via Exsanguinate, the transformed Emperor, or accumulated pings. Though not a pure storm deck, it plays like a pseudo-storm engine.
