Deck overview

This deck is a high-octane mono-red spellslinger and storm deck helmed by Urabrask // The Great Work. The strategy focuses on establishing mana-positive or mana-neutral spell engines through Urabrask, Birgi, God of Storytelling, Electro, Assaulting Battery, and Storm-Kiln Artist. Once an engine piece is assembled alongside pingers like Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, or Erebor Flamesmith, the deck chains low-cost cantrips, impulse draw spells, and rituals to burn the entire table down in a single explosive turn. Damage multipliers such as Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus dramatically lower the spell threshold needed for lethal damage. The list protects its critical turns using redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and uncounterable effects like Hexing Squelcher. While vulnerable to mass creature removal and heavy tax stax, its dense redundancy and rapid velocity make it a formidable and proactive threat.
