Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Toughness Aggro build centered on Doran, Besieged by Time. It converts high-toughness, low-power creatures into massive offensive threats. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with low-cost ramp pieces and deploying efficient defensive walls. Once Doran enters the battlefield, your creature spells with greater toughness than power become cheaper, and every attacking or blocking creature receives a massive +X/+X boost equal to the difference between its power and toughness. Backed by alternative damage-assignment engines such as Doran, the Siege Tower, Ancient Lumberknot, and Bedrock Tortoise, the deck applies relentless combat pressure. It sustains card flow through specialized draw engines like Abzan Beastmaster and Fecund Greenshell while answering opposing threats with flexible Abzan removal. The strategy closes games by overwhelming opponents through sheer combat damage over several rotations.
