Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck leverages Tidus, Yuna's Guardian to convert +1/+1 counter distribution into card advantage, proliferation, and lethal combat damage. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with low-cost dorks and establishing counter foundations using pieces like Shelinda, Yevon Acolyte and Hardened Scales. By turn 4, Tidus connects to draw cards and proliferate counters across the board. The midgame rapidly scales with power multipliers like Sovereign Okinec Ahau, Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, and Branching Evolution. Evasion enablers such as Herald of Secret Streams and Kodama of the West Tree prevent stalling against opposing blockers. Asymmetric board resets like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye sweep away opposing defenses while leaving your modified attackers intact for a decisive turn-6 knockout.
