Deck overview

This Bant deck uses Rafiq of the Many to lead an aggressive Voltron strategy focused on the exalted mechanic. The plan involves playing cheap exalted permanents in the early turns, casting Rafiq on Turn 4, and attacking with a single buffed creature on Turn 5 to deal lethal double strike commander damage. Auras such as Armadillo Cloak and equipment like Behemoth Sledge provide trample and lifelink to push through defenses and race opposing damage. While the deck can eliminate an unprepared player in one or two hits, its linear single-target combat plan requires multiple turn cycles to close out a full four-player table. Without tutors or fast mana, the list relies on natural card flow and faces vulnerability to board sweepers and token blockers.
