Uuguu by Philippos

Format: Commander

Commander: Uugguu, the Omniplasm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai deck uses Uugguu, the Omniplasm as a token-doubling engine. You copy Uugguu with nonlegendary clones like Spark Double and Phantasmal Image to create extra nontoken Oozes, then sacrifice them to Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Tower. Each death triggers Uugguu to make two 2/2 copies, doubled again by Doubling Season, Adrix and Nev, and Roaming Throne (Ooze) and Drivnod. Those tokens and deaths fuel aristocrat drains from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance and Mirkwood Bats, or a wide combat finish. Without Uugguu the deck still grinds with clones, Second Harvest and Grave Pact, but slower. Drivnod acts as the hidden commander, doubling every death trigger.
