Deck overview

This Boros Equipment deck leverages the partner pairing of Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to transform traditional single-target Voltron into a rapid, table-wide lethal clock. Ardenn bypasses heavy equip costs by attaching high-impact Equipment like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Blackblade Reforged directly to your commander at the beginning of combat for zero mana. When that equipped commander connects with an opponent, Kediss mirrors the full combat damage dealt across all other opponents simultaneously. Backed by double strike enablers like Reyav, Master Smith and Duelist's Heritage, the deck reliably delivers lethal commander damage to one player on Turn 4 while crippling or finishing the rest of the table. A dense suite of equipment tutors guarantees assembly, while silence effects such as Grand Abolisher and instant-speed protective spells shield the combat step from opposing disruption. Even after board wipes, surviving Equipment allows fast re-equipping and swift recovery.
