Deck overview

This Izzet deck leverages Rootha, Mastering the Moment to convert high-mana-value instants and sorceries into immediate, massive aerial pressure. By utilizing delve spells like Dig Through Time and Treasure Cruise, alternative costs like Fury of the Horde, and cost reducers like The Scarlet Witch and Stormcatch Mentor, the deck cheats on mana to create 8/8 or 10/10 flying haste Elemental tokens early in the game. Token duplicators such as Determined Iteration, Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer, and Redoubled Stormsinger multiply these threats, while extra combat spells like Full Throttle and finishers like Surge to Victory rapidly overwhelm opponents. Supported by a robust suite of efficient interaction (Cyclonic Rift, Chaos Warp, Rewind), the deck protects its life total and disrupts key opposing threats while executing a fast, evasive combat clock that reliably eliminates the table by Turn 7.
