Azula Bracket 4 by user8971496

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is a single-faced Grixis spellslinger commander; the primary plan is to land her early, attack to bank {R}{R}, and turn every spell cast during combat into a copy. Krark, the Thumbless acts as a hidden secondary copy engine in the 99, while Dualcaster Mage and instant/sorcery copy spells create infinite creature-copy or Bolt-copy kills. Storm-Kiln Artist and Archmage Emeritus convert each cast/copy into mana and cards, and a dense counterspell suite protects the chain. Secondary paths include wheel-plus-Notion Thief advantage and Blasphemous Act/Volatile Stormdrake control. The deck is built to use Azula's attack-trigger face; she has no transformation.
