Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Superfriends Polymorph Control list commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap mana acceleration and token fodder during the first three turns, casting Jace on Turn 4, and utilizing his −3 ability on Turn 5 to cheat massive threats directly onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. Every creature in the deck is an overwhelming bomb—such as Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Avacyn, Angel of Horror, and Agent of Treachery—while the planeswalker suite features heavyweight value engines like Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, Liliana, Dreadhorde General, and Teferi, Temporal Archmage. Defensively, Jace's static tax combines with premium countermagic, flexible removal, and sweepers like Farewell and Supreme Verdict to stall opposing aggression. The deck wins by burying the table in asymmetric card advantage, locking out combat lanes, and closing out life totals over two combat cycles.
