Commander: Ultima, Origin of Oblivion

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ultima, Origin of Oblivion heads a colorless Eldrazi ramp deck that wants to double its land mana as early as turn four and bury the table under annihilator titans. Ultima's blight counters strip opponent lands of their utility while the deck's artifact-heavy ramp package - Sol Ring, Mind Stone, Worn Powerstone, Basalt Monolith, Thran Dynamo, and the Urza trio - powers out Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, both Emrakuls, and the Kozilek cycle. The main win is combat: cast-trigger Eldrazi that exile permanents, draw cards, or steal turns, backed by Echoes of Eternity and Zhulodok, Void Gorger to chain into more haymakers. A secondary line is the Deserted Temple + Ultima infinite-colorless loop, with Planar Bridge and huge colorless spells as outlets. The deck is slower and more linear than a combo deck, but its sheer mana and giant flying bodies eventually overwhelm.
