Kuja makes wizards by Donoway

Format: Commander

Commander: Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kuja, Genome Sorcerer leads a Rakdos spellslinger strategy focused on accumulating burn triggers and doubling noncombat damage. The front face generates Wizard tokens whenever noncreature spells are cast, building toward the four-Wizard threshold required to transform into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. Once transformed, Trance Kuja provides a static damage doubler for all friendly Wizards. The primary win condition chains cheap cantrips, rituals, and burn spells alongside pingers like Coruscation Mage, Black Waltz No. 3, and Fiery Inscription. Amplified by damage multipliers such as City on Fire and Tor Wauki the Younger, a single high-velocity storm turn rapidly reduces every opponent from forty life to zero.
