Deck overview

This deck is a high-power casual Simic midrange strategy centered on Koma, Cosmos Serpent. It uses a dense suite of 1- and 2-mana ramp spells to accelerate into Koma as early as turn 4 or 5. Because Koma cannot be countered, it reliably hits the battlefield and immediately takes over the game by creating a 3/3 blue Serpent token on every player's upkeep. These tokens serve as defensive blockers, offensive beaters, and fodder for Koma's ability to tap down opposing permanents, stifle activated abilities, and grant itself indestructible. The deck compounds this board advantage with token doublers like Parallel Lives and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, draws cards off entering tokens via Elemental Bond and Kindred Discovery, and finishes the table using asymmetric overrun effects like Craterhoof Behemoth, Unnatural Growth, or unblockable attacks with Serpent of Yawning Depths.
