Deck overview

This Gruul aggro deck harnesses Kibo, Uktabi Prince to weaponize political resource gifts into overwhelming board pressure. By tapping Kibo to give every player a Banana token, the deck establishes an engine that punishes opponents whenever those tokens or any other artifacts hit the graveyard. Synergistic apes and monkeys, including Gorilla Shaman, Silverback Elder, and Kogla, the Titan Ape, continually strip opposing artifacts while triggering Kibo's team-wide +1/+1 counter ability. Punishers such as Bloodroot Apothecary and Pain Distributor turn routine token sacrifices into lethal poison and burn, while Manglehorn slows opposing mana rock development. Card advantage engines like Viridian Revel, Toski, Bearer of Secrets, and Sylvan Library keep the hand refueled. The deck converts this accumulated power into decisive table eliminations around Turns 5 to 7 through trample enablers, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Craterhoof Behemoth, while robust protection like Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention shields key pieces.
