Deck overview

This Sultai deck leverages Uugguu, the Omniplasm to double the death value of nontoken Oozes and clone creatures. By deploying efficient turn 1 mana dorks, the deck casts Uugguu on turn 2 and establishes pod engines like Birthing Pod or Pyre of Heroes on turn 3. When a nontoken Ooze dies, Uugguu creates two 2/2 copies, generating extra fuel for sacrifice outlets and card draw engines such as Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Skullclamp. On turn 4, the deck uses creature tutors to assemble Mikaeus, the Unhallowed alongside Yawgmoth and Cauldron of Essence, establishing an infinite loop that wipes opposing creatures, draws the library, and drains opponents for lethal damage in the same turn. Powerful backup recursion and asymmetric stax pieces like Grave Pact ensure resilient execution.
