Elves on a shelf by user1885946

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elfball deck built to turn Thranduil, the Elvenking into a one-card activated-ability toolbox: once key Elves are in the graveyard, Thranduil can tap for huge mana like Elvish Archdruid, tutor like Fauna Shaman, drain like Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and sacrifice creatures like Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. The primary plan is to ramp with Elf dorks, stock the yard with Buried Alive, cast Thranduil, then convert the board into a combo win via Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination infinite mana. The deck also has a strong combat fallback through Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Natural Order, and Craterhoof Behemoth. It is a mid-paced, tutor-heavy deck that wants to assemble one of several redundant "tap an Elf for 4+ mana" combinations and close the game in a single explosive turn.
