Commander: The Howling Abomination

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Howling Abomination is a low-to-the-ground RG spellslinger deck that turns targeted cantrips and pump spells into card advantage, commander growth, and global burn. Zada, Hedron Grinder acts as a hidden commander, multiplying those spells across the board, while Storm-Kiln Artist converts every cast and copy into Treasure. The usual kill is a buyback loop with Seething Anger that makes the commander trigger enough times to deal 40 damage to each opponent; Grapeshot, Guttersnipe, and Kediss are backup win paths. The deck is fast, creature-focused, and vulnerable if its key engines are removed.
