The company of thorin Oakenshield by Bassbreaker

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf tribal value deck built around Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The main plan is to spam Dwarf creatures, converting each Dwarf ETB and combat tap into Treasure tokens, then use those tokens to pay for heavy activations and anthems. It wins by overwhelming combat damage, usually after Thorin, King's anthem makes every other Dwarf bigger for each artifact token, with support from equipment, flicker protection, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw as a hidden artifact tutor. Secondary paths are Balin Loremaster's burn/draw line and Thorin, Company's Leader's double-strike activation. It is not a combo deck, but a grindy token-and-equipment beatdown deck with enough instant-speed protection to dodge blowouts.
