Deck overview

This Dimir Assassin tribal deck is helmed by Lydia Frye, a 3-mana commander that turns your tapped Assassins into end-step surveil value. The primary plan is to deploy cheap, evasive Assassins (deathtouch, menace, flying, unblockable) and accumulate card-quality advantage through surveil triggers, graveyard recursion, and combat-drawn cards. The deck wins either through conventional combat damage - often accelerated by Unstoppable Slasher's half-life ability or Etrata, the Silencer's exile-based alternate win condition - or via the multiplayer closer Ramses, Assassin Lord, which makes any player loss into your victory. The freerunning mechanic grants discount on several spells after combat, while reanimation spells like Back in Town and Restart Sequence bring back key pieces. The deck operates as a mid-range value engine that out-lasts opponents rather than racing them.
