Oops All Birds by user1705457

Commander: Hermes, Overseer of Elpis

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue spell-slinger token deck built around Hermes, Overseer of Elpis. Every noncreature spell generates a 1/1 Bird, and attacking with Birds provides scry trigger that pair naturally with Matoya, Archon Elder and Curiosity Crafter. The deck combines cheap cantrips, draw spells, and countermagic with multiple token engines - Talrand, Sky Summoner, Murmuring Mystic, Docent of Perfection, and Alandra, Sky Dreamer - to turn every Brainstorm or Consider into an army of evasive flyers. The primary win is a go-wide flying attack, accelerated by anthems like Favorable Winds, Patchwork Banner, and Vanquisher's Banner, with Candlekeep Inspiration as an explosive one-turn finisher based on the instant/sorcery count in graveyard and exile. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through card advantage, creature generation, and combat inevitability.
