Deck overview

This five-color deck pairs Codie, Ravenous Codex with a dense suite of Prepare creatures and Surveil synergies. Codie allows you to prepare all your creatures for {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} and copy every prepared spell you cast, turning cheap adventure-style spells into doubled removal, card draw, and tutor effects. The deck fuels its graveyard through consistent surveil triggers, feeding reanimation powerhouses like Breach the Multiverse, Grave Researcher // Reanimate, and Mirko, Obsessive Theorist. A resilient interactive suite defends your board with efficient removal and counterspells, while large flying Sphinxes and buffed token armies close out the game through combat over two decisive attack turns.
