Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis Zombie Aristocrats deck helmed by Kraum, Ludevic's Opus and Tormod, the Desecrator. It merges resilient tribal creature synergies with potent graveyard-centric combo finishes. The deck leverages dedicated graveyard tutors such as Buried Alive and Entomb to fill the graveyard with recursive fodder like Gravecrawler, while Tormod turns every graveyard extraction into a growing army of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Kraum sits in the command zone providing persistent card draw whenever opponents cast multiple spells. The primary win condition centers around assembling Rooftop Storm alongside Gravecrawler, a sacrifice outlet like Carrion Feeder or Grimgrin, Corpse-Born, and a death-drain payoff like Diregraf Captain, executing a lethal same-turn table kill. Supported by format-staple free interaction, fast mana rituals, and redundant recursion pieces, the deck maintains high resilience against disruption while exerting steady board pressure.
