Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov lifegain, token, and aristocrat deck led by Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight. The front side, Eirdu, gives all creature spells convoke, allowing the deck to use small utility creatures and tokens to power out expensive threats ahead of curve. The reverse side, Isilu, grants each other nontoken creature persist, creating built-in board wipe resilience and doubling death triggers. The deck aims to flood the battlefield with cheap creatures and token producers, establish steady life gain and drain engines through cards like Corpse Knight, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, and Bastion of Remembrance, and close the game using unblockable combat pressure from Odric, Master Tactician or MacCready, Lamplight Mayor. While the list features resilient recursion and consistent incremental damage, its reliance on natural card draws and low land count makes hitting curve requirements essential.
