Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting Vivi Ornitier with damage-triggered card-drawing auras such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or pairing it with Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cheap cantrip draws three cards while growing Vivi's power and draining the table. Once Vivi accumulates power, its free mana ability produces a massive burst of blue and red mana mid-turn. This mana fuels continuous chains of low-cost instants and sorceries, supported by velocity engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist.
