Deck overview

The Necron Dynasties deck, commanded by Szarekh, the Silent King, is a mono-black artifact midrange and reanimation strategy. It focuses on stocking the graveyard through combat-triggered self-mill and dedicated support pieces like Out of the Tombs, then converting those discarded resources into board presence. The deck ramps via standard artifact mana rocks into resilient Necron threats that leverage unearth mechanics, token generation via Imotekh the Stormlord, and life-cheating casts through Anrakyr the Traveller. Win conditions revolve around overwhelming combat damage amplified by lords like Skorpekh Lord and Caged Sun, high-impact C'tan bombs such as Shard of the Void Dragon and Shard of the Nightbringer, or game-warping mass reanimation via Living Death. While the deck exhibits robust grind potential and redundant graveyard recursion, its lack of dedicated tutors and stack interaction leaves it vulnerable to well-timed mass graveyard exile and noncreature combo strategies.
