Deck overview

This deck is a five-color spellslinger build centered on Codie, Ravenous Codex and creatures featuring the prepare mechanic. Early turns focus on establishing mana fixing and deploying low-cost prepare creatures. Once Codie, Ravenous Codex enters the battlefield, casting prepared spells triggers Codie to copy them, doubling the value of powerful effects like Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song, Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall, and Sanar, Unfinished Genius // Wild Idea. Engine pieces like Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Veyran, Voice of Duality generate massive amounts of Treasure tokens and card draw on every cast and copy. The deck rapidly converts this resource surplus into a decisive Turn 5 win, draining the entire table simultaneously with a massive doubled Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate or swarming opponents with Fractal and Pest armies.
