Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf/Equipment beatdown deck built around Dwalin, Weaponmaster. The plan is to deploy Dwalin early, stack cheap Equipment on him, and let his hone counters snowball every time he enters or attacks. Because hone counters sit on every Equipment you control, even small pieces like Lavaspur Boots or Gold Pan turn Dwalin into a scaling voltron threat. The deck also runs a deep Dwarf tribal subtheme: Kili the Resourceful makes equipping free and draws cards, Balin, Loremaster refuels and drains, and Dain Ironfoot gives mass double strike. There are no infinite combos; instead the deck wins through repeated commander damage, Dwarf token swarms, and a single extra-combat blowout from Desert Were-Worm. It is a low-to-the-ground, combat-focused deck that wants to attack early and often.
