Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive stax and cheat engine commanded by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary strategy deploys low-cost non-Human creatures and disruptive stax pieces on early turns to restrict opposing development. Once Winota enters the battlefield on Turn 4, attacking with those non-Humans immediately triggers multiple library excavations, cheating powerful Human creatures directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. The deck breaks parity on Rule of Law effects because Winota places creatures into play without casting them. The Human package provides overwhelming combat damage through anthems, double strike, damage doubling, and an infinite combat loop with Rionya, Fire Dancer and Combat Celebrant. Proactive protection pieces like Grand Abolisher and Boromir, Warden of the Tower ensure safe combat steps, allowing the deck to close the game on Turn 5 across a single opponent response cycle.
