NEW BONE COLLECTOR (another whack at it)

Format: Commander

Commander: Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black reanimator midrange deck helmed by Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist. The plan is to self-mill and tutor creatures into the graveyard, then reanimate oversized threats-Archon of Cruelty, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Razaketh, the Foulblooded, and fellow demons/Eldrazi-while draining the table through devotion, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and big Exsanguinate turns. Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist provides repeatable sorcery-speed reanimation from the command zone, but strips the reanimated body of abilities, so it is best used for raw power and toughness (Eldrazi beaters, Death's Shadow) while spell-based reanimation (Reanimate, Victimize, Persist, Metamorphosis Fanatic) preserves ETB payoffs. Secondary angles include Altar of Dementia milling, infect via Tainted Strike, and grindy recursion with Tortured Existence. The deck wins through attrition, drain, and combat rather than a hyper-fast combo kill.
