Commander: The Jolly Balloon Man

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Jolly Balloon Man is a Boros copy-toolbox commander who makes hasty 1/1 balloon copies of your best creatures. The primary plan is to assemble an infinite token combo, usually Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker plus Felidar Guardian or Zealous Conscripts, with Kiki-Jiki functioning as a hidden commander. Jolly Balloon Man doubles as a repeatable value engine by copying Felidar Guardian to flicker itself, while Cadric, Ertha Jo, Orthion, and Helm of the Host multiply ETB creatures. Secondary burn lines use Fanatic of Mogis, Red Dragon, Purphoros, and Terror of the Peaks to convert each copy into damage. Grand Abolisher, Defense Grid, Silence, and instant protection make the creature-based combo resilient enough to resolve.
