Deck overview

This Orzhov Enchantress deck is commanded by Killian, Decisive Mentor. It controls the pace of the game through combat redirection, pillowfort taxes, and Aura-based Voltron scaling. The early game focuses on deploying cost reducers and card-draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer, followed by casting Killian to convert every subsequent enchantment into a tap and goad trigger. By enchanting opposing threats with cards like Coercive Impetus and Eye of Nidhogg, the deck forces opponents to deplete each other's life totals while drawing extra cards each combat. Defensively, Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple protect the pilot from incoming attacks. The deck closes out games on Turns 6 to 8 by supercharging a creature with All That Glitters or Eldrazi Conscription, generating flying armies with Archon of Sun's Grace, or draining the table with Debt to the Deathless.
