Tome of the Firemind by magishane

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Parun

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger combo strategy led by Niv-Mizzet, Parun. The primary game plan is to accelerate through your library using cheap cantrips and card draw engines, establish protective countermagic, and resolve the commander alongside a Curiosity effect. Attaching Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or soulbonding Tandem Lookout to Niv-Mizzet creates a deterministic damage-draw loop that eliminates the table. Secondary win conditions leverage alternative ping engines like Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, burn outlets like Psychosis Crawler, Guttersnipe, and Coruscation Mage, or the Ral, Storm Conduit and Expansion infinite copy loop to secure victory without combat.
