Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-green stompy engine commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary strategy accelerates mana on turn 1, deploys undercosted high-power creatures on turns 2 and 3, and casts a discounted Ghalta for {G}{G} on turn 4. Once Ghalta is on the battlefield, the deck converts its massive 12/12 body into enormous card advantage through draw spells like Greater Good, Rishkar's Expertise, and Return of the Wildspeaker, while generating surplus mana via Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and The Great Henge. Protective instants like Heroic Intervention and Veil of Summer shield the board against disruption, while Collector Ouphe slows down opposing artifact ramp. The game concludes on turns 5 and 6 through trampling combat damage boosted by The Skullspore Nexus, Berserk, Overwhelming Stampede, or Craterhoof Behemoth.
