Call Poison Control by Stiggs

Format: Commander

Commander: Ingris Stingerquill

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 45

Deck overview

This deck leverages Ingris Stingerquill as a global poison delivery engine in Rakdos colors. Because Ingris causes attacking creatures to deal 1 noncombat damage directly to each opponent, giving Ingris infect or attacking alongside cheap infect creatures bypasses traditional combat blocking and distributes poison counters to the entire table at once. Supported by dense low-drop infect creatures such as Plague Stinger and Flensermite, global poison sources like Ichor Rats and Vraska's Fall, and damage amplifiers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, the deck quickly infects every player. Once opponents are poisoned, a robust package of proliferate engines including Contagion Engine, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and Staff of Compleation rapidly ticks poison counters up to lethal thresholds. High-tempo protection spells like Deflecting Swat, Imp's Mischief, and Red Elemental Blast safeguard the engine while efficient board clears keep opposing creature strategies in check.
