Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain tribal midrange strategy commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. It leverages the connive mechanic to smooth card selection, fill the graveyard, and pump attackers while converting discarded land cards into direct burn against all opponents. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana rocks and low-cost Villains such as Psychic Frog and Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. Once Doctor Doom enters on Turn 4, the deck generates continuous combat value by granting menace and triggering connive each turn. Mid-game payoffs like Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, Bone Miser, Ultron, Unlimited, and Archfiend of Ifnir amplify this engine by creating creature swarms, generating mana, and dismantling opposing boards. A robust suite of reanimation spells ensures fast recovery after board wipes, enabling a resilient combat closeout around Turn 8.
