Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a synergistic Vampire tribal and life-drain midrange strategy commanded by Olivia Voldaren. The early game focuses on deploying efficient Vampire creatures such as Cordial Vampire and Stromkirk Captain, supported by low-cost mana artifacts. On turn 4, the deck establishes its primary engine by casting Olivia Voldaren or value generators like Bloodline Keeper. By turn 6, the deck reaches critical onset, leveraging combat damage multipliers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and aerial lifelinkers from Crossway Troublemakers to pressure life totals. In addition to combat, the list can steal opposing threats with Olivia's activated abilities or assemble a game-ending two-card drain loop using Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Solid single-target removal and asymmetric board wipes like Olivia's Wrath keep opposing boards clear while the deck closes out the game on turn 8.
