Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai big-mana stompy deck commanded by Zaxara, the Exemplary, focusing on {X} spells and +1/+1 counter synergies. The primary strategy ramps early to deploy Zaxara on Turn 3, then spends subsequent turns casting powerful {X} spells to build a formidable army of oversized Hydra tokens. Mana accelerators such as Elementalist's Palette and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds pair with counter multipliers like Unbound Flourishing, Doubling Season, and Branching Evolution to rapidly escalate the power of your board. Combat evasion provided by Herald of Secret Streams, Garruk's Uprising, and Champion of Lambholt ensures massive creatures bypass blockers and close out games through sequential attacks across Turns 6 to 8. While the deck generates massive board presence and robust card flow through {X} draw spells, it lacks targeted tutors and format-ceiling fast mana, leaving its non-hasty threats exposed to timely sweepers and interactive removal before securing victory.
