Deck overview

This Boros deck focuses on equipping Bruenor Battlehammer and other Dwarf warriors to eliminate opponents sequentially through high-damage combat attacks. Bruenor's ability to cheat the first equip cost each turn bypasses massive equip requirements on cards like Colossus Hammer and Argentum Armor, while his static ability grants +2/+0 for each attached Equipment. The deck supplements this strategy with double strike enablers like Reyav, Master Smith and Dáin Ironfoot to double damage output. A tailored suite of low-cost protection spells such as Boros Charm and Loran's Escape shields Bruenor during combat turns. While the deck boasts high single-target lethality, its plan remains vulnerable to well-timed artifact removal and mass exile board wipes.
